    Responsibilities

    Daily job duties and responsibilities:

    • Facilitating human resources processes
    • Administering employee health and welfare plans
    • Acting as a liaison between employees and insurance providers
    • Resolving benefits-related problems
    • Ensuring the effective utilization of plans related to HR programs and services
    • Administering health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
    • Answering employee requests and questions
    • Assisting with new employee hiring processes
    • Reconciling benefits statements
    • Conducting audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs, and recommending corrective actions
    • Assisting with the performance review and termination processes

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    Education (if beyond High School or equivalent):

    • High school completion required.

     

    Experience Target:

    • 2 years’ experience in human resources, customer service, or related field preferred.

     

    Skills:

    • Excellent interpersonal/customer service skills.
    • Good computer skills – Microsoft Office preferred.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organization and time management skills.

     

    Knowledge/Abilities:

    • Ability to be flexible, adaptable to change and thrive in a team environment.
    • Basic knowledge of all human resources functions including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, HRIS, benefits, employment laws, compliance issues, etc.
    • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving and employee relation abilities.
    • Ability to maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
