    Express Management Holdings, LLC a T-Mobile Partner with 200 + retail locations on the East Coast, has an opening for a Payroll Coordinator in our East Brunswick, NJ headquarters. The position will provide support to the Payroll Manager and report to the Director of Finance.    

    We need a candidate with payroll and customer service experience.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include:

     

     

    • Review employees’ timesheets to ensure times are recorded accurately and approved in a timely manner before payroll processing.         
    • Manage employee PTO requests.
    • Resolve payroll related question with employees & management via telephone and email.
    • Process manual checks requests due to replacement/ lost paychecks.
    • Process former employees final commission payment requests.  
    • Update payroll records by recording changes including address, direct deposits, garnishments    401k and medical deductions.
    • Create & run payroll reports and review information for accuracy.
    • Process W-4 withholding forms changes approval.
    • Work closely with HR Team to assist employees with Pay, PTO and other inquiries.
    • Assist with processing biweekly & bonus payrolls for both salaried & hourly employees with the goal of processing independently
    • Assist with special projects as needed.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    • Associate’s Degree
    • 1 year experience in a Payroll with Customer Service or H.R. background
    • Knowledge of computerized time & attendance and payroll processing system.
    • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
    • Detail oriented with strong organization skills
    • Intermediate or Advanced Excel skills
    • Problem Solving
    • Ability to meet deadlines consistently
    • Strong ability to follow instructions

     

    This position requires a strong work ethic and communication skills, which allows you to work independently, but also ability to resolve employees’ issues via telephone and email.  We are a fast paced office, with an expanding business, which is looking to hire an individual with a diverse set of skills that is also looking to grow their skill set as well as have numerous future opportunities within our business.

    Salary range is 35-45k and dependent on experience.
